The Memorial Service for Remembrance Day was last held on 19.11.2023. After only small ceremonies could take place during the pandemic years, more guests have been attending again since 2022. Among them, guests from all parts of Europe and many different age groups. Pupils and representatives from politics and the church are also involved.
Every year on this day, we commemorate the victims of war and violence around the world under the Volksbund's motto "Reconciliation beyond the graves - working for peace".
We are grateful for the participation in the joint commemoration with music following an ecumenical service.
